Command and Conquer 3 demo

Uchujin, stop reading this post now. You asked me not to tell you about it.

Suffice to say, it was great. It’s probably the only game I have right now that actually gives my (fairly) new graphics card a workout. I dunno how hard Snoopy vs. the Red Baron hits it, but the graphics and effects alone made me pretty excited about C&C3. The gameplay is pretty good; my only real gripe is with the controls: they reversed what the left and right mouse buttons do as compared to previous games. I’m not sure why they would make a change like that, but I’m sure I can get used to it. Meanwhile, I’m praying they either fix that before RTM, or allow control customization (which I think I would prefer anyway).

In summary, the demo was really fun (I’ll be playing it more tonight after work in skirmish mode), the graphics are awesome, and I’m definitely going to be buying the game when it hits the shelves.
